Job summary

Universal Orlando Internship Program in Orlando invites energetic students to join accounting and finance teams for Summer 2027. Interns will support accounting close tasks, financial analysis, and reporting, learning from internal partners and gaining exposure to G/L reconciliations and journal entries.

The program is in-person, paid, requires a degree pursuit with graduation after Aug 2027, and housing/transportation are not provided, with opportunities to develop Excel, analysis, and

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor or graduate degree with senior status or higher.
• Minimum 2.8 GPA; transcript required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare close calendars for communication to business units.
• Troubleshoot accounting variance errors & discrepancies.
• Respond to inquiries from internal & external clients using departmental expertise.
• Coordinate interim & period-end close tasks and reporting.
• Prepare journal entries and G/L reconciliations.
• Research technical accounting topics as needed.
• Develop moderate spreadsheet and analytical skills through learning tasks.
• Use technology to automate manual processes.
• Follow UO Environmental, Health & Safety policies.
