Job summary

Legendary Entertainment is seeking an intern for its Accounting department in Burbank, CA. This role reports to the SVP of Corporate Accounting and collaborates with the Finance team and executives.

The internship features real projects, workshops, and networking, with up to 29 hours per week and an hourly pay range. Ideal candidates are accounting majors with strong Excel skills and solid communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (Spring/Summer) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated within the past six months.
• GPA of 3.5 or above is highly preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
• Undergrad accounting major, preferred.
• High level of verbal/written communication and attention to detail.
• Strong organization and ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze financial information and prepare journal entries for approval.
• Record journal entries for the Accounting team.
• Prepare schedules to facilitate the close.
• Track royalty reports and generate invoices.
• Interact with other divisions in a timely, courteous, professional manner.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Other duties as required.
