Job summary

Klaviyo is seeking an Accounting Co-op for a 6-month paid program based at our Boston headquarters. You will join the Corporate Accounting team and contribute to critical month-end and quarter-end close activities.

You'll gain hands-on experience with general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with FP&A, procurement, and billing teams. This role emphasizes process improvements and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student pursuing Accounting or Finance, graduating May 2028.
• Prior internship/co-op experience in Accounting is preferred.
• Experience building using AI tools to improve processes.
• Proficient in Excel and Google Suite for data analysis and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and quarter-end close with journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure general ledger reflects GAAP-compliant transactions.
• Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, procurement and billing teams.
• Engage in ad-hoc projects to build new processes and improve efficiency.
• Assist with SOX compliance and support external audits.
