Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) offers an Environmental Services Manager in Training program at a long-term care facility. This paid 12-week program teaches you to manage your own account and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care operations with hands-on and computer-based training.

You will gain experience in environmental services within a healthcare setting while developing leadership and operational skills, with a path to managing facilities and improving resident experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Must have computer skills for records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
