Job summary

CDPHP is offering a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns will engage in development workshops, work on meaningful projects, and receive mentorship from managers. The program spans early June to late August and supports both technical and non-technical tracks.

Interns gain exposure to key business concepts, participate in cross-functional teams, and present their work upon completion of the internship. Housing is not provided.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program and in good academic standing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team and establish working relationships.
• Demonstrates organizational, analytical, problem-solving and prioritization skills.
• Proactive, creative, and flexible in completing assigned tasks.
• Willingness to support cross-department projects and learn across tracks.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile the premiums billed and payments received each month to identify and resolve shortages, overpayments, refunds or adjustments.
• Assist with collection efforts to recover unpaid premiums.
• Analyze negative balances to identify trends and improve processes.
• Collaborate with mentor on key strategic projects.
• Create and deliver presentations at internship completion.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect member privacy according to policies.
• Attend development workshops and participate in assigned tasks.
• Regular attendance and reliability are expected.
