Job summary

HP, Inc. is seeking a Workflow Solutions Engineer to design, integrate, and validate end-to-end production workflows for PageWide Web Press solutions. You will ensure jobs flow from PDF intake through printing and finishing, enabling reliable, automated production environments.

You will collaborate across R&D, finishing and industrial controls teams, support deployments worldwide, and help drive adoption of scalable workflow solutions in customer environments.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, integrating, or supporting software systems in a production environment.
• Practical knowledge of PDF preparation for print, including imposition and preflight.
• Familiarity with workflow automation concepts, APIs, and system-to-system integration.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end workflows for PageWide Web Press production.
• Configure and validate workflow elements: job intake, PDF processing, imposition, and routing.
• Support workflow integration for nearline, offline, and hybrid finishing configurations.
• Serve as the primary technical interface between customer-facing teams and HP product development.
• Participate in customer calls and onsite visits to understand requirements and deploy solutions.
• Perform system validation, testing, and customer acceptance for new installs and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot complex workflow issues including PDF handling and automation behavior.
• Support Tier-4 escalations with root-cause analysis and deployment planning.
• Document architectures, configurations, and limitations for reuse and knowledge transfer.
