Job summary

HP is seeking a Workflow Solutions Engineer to design, integrate, validate, and support end-to-end production workflows for PageWide Web Press solutions. You will ensure efficient PDF intake to finished output, enabling automated, scalable production environments.

You will collaborate with R&D, finishing solution engineers, sales, and partners to deliver customer-ready workflow solutions deployed worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, integrating, or supporting software systems in an industrial or production environment.
• Familiarity with PDF preparation for print, including imposition and preflight.
• Knowledge of workflow automation concepts, APIs, and system-to-system integration.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end workflows supporting PageWide production, from job submission to finishing.
• Configure and validate workflow elements including job intake, PDF processing, imposition, and routing.
• Support workflow integration for nearline, offline, and hybrid finishing configurations.
• Serve as the primary technical interface between customer-facing support teams and HP product development.
• Participate in customer calls and onsite visits to understand requirements and deployments.
• Perform system validation, testing, and customer acceptance for new installs or upgrades.
• Troubleshoot complex workflow issues including PDF handling and automation behavior.
• Support Tier-4 escalations with R&D to drive root cause and deployment planning.
• Document workflow architectures and known limitations for reuse and scalability.
