Job summary

Klein Tools in Mansfield, TX is seeking a Pad Printer Operator for a 2nd shift (3:30pm–12am, Mon-Fri). The role requires advanced knowledge of CNC controls and machining, with responsibilities including troubleshooting, tool changes, and ensuring print quality on high-tech equipment.

You will perform setup, test programs, adjust feeds and speeds, monitor production, inspect parts, document downtime and quality issues, and maintain a safe, clean workspace per 6S standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required plus three years of experience or equivalent.
• Metalworking or metal removal experience and CNC certification or metalworking/tooling certification preferred.
• Must read, write, speak and understand basic English; basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Follow OSHA safety rules; wear PPE and maintain clean, safe work area.
• Perform advanced setup on equipment; install tools/fixtures; verify machine settings; run first piece; confirm specifications.
• Load and test programs; adjust offsets; modify feed, speed and axis as needed.
• Monitor machine operation; inspect parts; document downtime and shift communications.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment; replace defective components; perform routine maintenance.
• Keep 6S standards; cross-train on different machines; participate in lean manufacturing activities.
