Core Responsibilities
- Configure and transition assembly and pad printing lines to align with specific client requirements.
- Prepare pad printing inks by managing color accuracy, viscosity, and overall consistency for every project.
- Resolve mechanical, electrical, and process‑related malfunctions to help maintain seamless production flow.
- Execute routine preventive maintenance on machinery to help ensure peak equipment availability.
- Dismantle completed jobs and reconfigure hardware to prepare for subsequent production cycles.
- Collaborate with Quality and Production departments to help guarantee uniform output and adherence to standards.
- Implement Lean and 5S methodologies to help foster a highly organized and productive workspace.
Technical Tools & Systems
- Pad printing machinery, sonic welders, hot stampers, printers, curing ovens, and sealers.
- Manual hand tools, grinders, and soldering equipment.
- Pneumatic and mechanical system components.
- Material handling equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and practical problem‑solving skills.
- Proven background in pad printing configuration, specifically regarding ink preparation and color matching.
- Experience working with assembly, printing, machining, or pneumatic and electrical systems.
- Comfortable operating within a production setting that requires frequent equipment changeovers.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions, communicate effectively, and work autonomously.
- Possession of forklift certification or a willingness to obtain one.
- Self‑driven professional with a commitment to maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Physical Demands & Environment
- Work is performed in an industrial manufacturing facility.
- Requires standing, walking, bending, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs on an occasional basis.
