Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, mop, wash and clean all debris from floor.
• Clean and sanitize sinks, toilets and urinals with chemicals as directed.
• Empty trash, handle 50 lbs or more, dispose of items properly.
• Pickup and dispose of beer bottles/glasses; empty ashtrays.
• Clean slot machines, carousels, stools, gaming tables and chairs.
• Respond to spills and safety issues immediately; sign in/out keys & equipment daily.
• Provide positive customer service at all times; perform other duties as requested.

Overview

It is the responsibility of the Casino Porter employee to maintain the cleanliness of all public areas to the highest standards of excellence. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company’s brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, mop, wash and clean all debris from floor.


• Clean and sanitize all sinks, toilets and urinals using various chemicals as directed.


• Clean and empty trash receptacles, push and pull 50lbs. or more trash bins.


• Pick up and dispose of properly all empty beer bottles and glasses.


• Clean, empty and wipe all ashtrays and replace missing ones.


• Clean slot machines, carousels and stools.


• Clean all gaming tables and chairs.


• Take care of all blood borne calls, broken glass and/or wet/dry spills immediately.


• Signing in and out for keys, radios and equipment on a daily basis and bringing every item back in good working condition.


• Use of positive customer service is required at all times.


• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and use of basic reading, writing and speaking skills in English.

• Able to work with various chemicals and cleaning equipment.


• Lifting and/or pulling 50lbs.or more.


• Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.


• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.


• Must be able to communicate over the radio in English.


• Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.


• High School education preferred.


• 6 months experience preferred Housekeeping related work.


• Minimum age requirement is 21.
