Job summary

Landry's in Las Vegas is seeking a Casino Porter to maintain pristine public areas and deliver personalized guest service aligned with our K.E.E.P. brand values. You will handle routine cleaning, trash removal, and basic safety tasks while supporting guests and coworkers with a professional, friendly demeanor.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift 50 lbs, and English communication. It is a non-tipped, full-time position based in Las Vegas with a focus on safety and hospitality

Qualifications

• Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results.
• Knowledge and use of basic reading, writing and speaking skills in English.
• Must be able to communicate with guests, co-workers and supervisors and understand procedures.
• Mental alertness to achieve high level of accuracy in completing tasks.
• Able to work with various chemicals and cleaning equipment.
• Lifting and/or pulling 50lbs.or more.
• Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
• Must be able to communicate over the radio in English.
• Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.
• High School education preferred.
• 6 months experience preferred Housekeeping related work.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, mop, wash and clean all debris from floor.
• Clean and sanitize all sinks, toilets and urinals using various chemicals as directed.
• Clean and empty trash receptacles, push and pull 50lbs. or more trash bins.
• Pick up and dispose of properly all empty beer bottles and glasses.
• Clean, empty and wipe all ashtrays and replace missing ones.
• Clean slot machines, carousels and stools.
• Clean all gaming tables and chairs.
• Take care of all blood borne calls, broken glass and/or wet/dry spills immediately.
• Signing in and out for keys, radios and equipment on a daily basis and bringing every item back in good working condition.
• Use of positive customer service is required at all times.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.
