Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled PACU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in San Francisco, CA. As part of our clinical team, you will provide specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia, perform assessments, implement post-operative care plans, and coordinate with the surgical team to ensure safe discharges.
The position requires one year of PACU experience, CA RN license, and current BLS/ACLS, with preferred ENPC/PALS.
Qualifications
- One year of recent PACU RN experience
- Valid RN license in California
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
Responsibilities
- Assess patients transferring from the operating room and monitor recovery.
- Monitor vital signs, consciousness, and recovery from anesthesia.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Document patient assessments and recovery progress in medical records.
- Coordinate care with the surgical team and discharge planning.
- Operate PACU equipment and respond to emergencies.
