Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma, GED, or post-secondary education (as stated).
• One year of work experience or experience as a Support Technician or in a healthcare-related position.
• Must hold American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services rooms, removes waste, and performs special projects as assigned.
• Inventories and restocks supplies on the unit and obtains supplies and rental units.
• Provides support to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and caregivers by performing simple patient care activities.
• Performs various tasks to provide assistance and support in Surgical Services.
