Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, equivalent education (GED), post-secondary education or (1) one year work experience in a healthcare setting.
• Must hold American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services rooms, removes waste, and performs special projects as assigned.
• Inventories and restocks supplies on the unit and obtains supplies and rental units.
• Provides support to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and caregivers by performing simple patient care activities.
• Performs various tasks and duties to provide assistance and support in an expanded Support Tech role to the staff in Surgical Services.
