Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's Arroyo Grande Community Hospital seeks a Staff Nurse to provide safe, therapeutic care across ages, applying nursing processes from assessment to evaluation.

You will deliver total patient care, support care by others, and assume relief charge duties as needed while collaborating with the care team and upholding our mission and core values.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum of One year in Acute Care Hospital PACU.
• Registered Nurse: CA RN License.
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 30 Days.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 30 Days.

Responsibilities

• Provide total patient care using the nursing process.
• Assume responsibility for assignments, including relief charge nurse duties as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and outcomes.
• Follow established hospital and department policies.
• Communicate problems with equipment, supplies or procedures to supervisor.
• Attend 80% of staff meetings and review minutes.

As our Staff Nurse, you will expertly apply the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide safe, therapeutic care for patients of all ages, aligning with our Mission and Core Values.Every day you will provide total patient care, assist in managing care administered by other staff, and assume responsibility for your assignments, including relief charge nurse duties as needed.To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of nursing principles, effectively collaborate with the healthcare team, and take accountability for patient outcomes.
