Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU unit in Camden, NJ. The role involves caring for patients recovering from anesthesia, monitoring vitals, and coordinating with the surgical team to determine discharge needs.

Qualified candidates will hold an NJ RN license, BLS and ACLS, PALS within 3 months, and have 2+ years of critical care/PACU experience. Friday and Saturday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years critical care nursing experience (PACU preferred).
• Graduate of NLN-accredited School of Nursing.
• Current NJ RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS certification within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to PACU patients using the nursing process.
• Monitor patients as they wake from anesthesia and coordinate with surgical teams.
• Communicate effectively with internal staff and patients’ families.
• Follow established policies and procedures and Cooper core values.
