Job summary

Pullman Regional Hospital in Washington state is seeking a Registered Nurse for Same Day Services - PACU. The role requires independent peri-anesthetic management of a complex surgical and outpatient population, delivering safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital policies.

Four 10-hour shifts, 8:30am–7:00pm, with call. Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS at hire; WA license in good standing. On-call within 60 minutes. Competitive hourly pay range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in Washington state.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications at time of hire.
• Ability to perform the required technical skills for a Registered Nurse.
• Ability to learn and apply new patient care skills and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritize professional nursing care to ensure safe, effective patient care.
• Gather information to form a patient care plan based on nursing assessment.
• Make decisions using nursing judgment to establish care plans.
• Communicate and collaborate to maintain a therapeutic relationship with patients and colleagues.
• Promote a safe, positive work environment and equitable workload distribution.
• Maintain regulatory competencies and complete annual skills within required timeframes.
