Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the PACU in our Same Day Surgery Unit. We seek an experienced RN with 1 year of PACU or surgical services experience and a BSN or MSN preferred. ACLS within 1 year, PALS/ENPC within 1 year, and BLS within 90 days are required.

A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible hires. The role involves day shifts with rotation, caring for General, GYN, Ortho, Total Joint, Urology, and Vascular patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year RN experience in surgical settings.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire.
• PALS or ENPC within 1 year of hire.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care in PACU using the nursing process.
• Monitor and reassess patients post-anesthesia and during recovery.
• Collaborate with surgical team for safe patient handoffs and discharge planning.
