Keck Hospital of USC in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an RN Clinical - Pre/Post Operation (HC3) for Per Diem 12 Hour Varied Shifts with call required. This Non-Exempt role supports perioperative patient care in a compassionate, multi-disciplinary environment and reports to the Clinical Director of Perioperative Services.

The PACU RN delivers direct and indirect care, develops care plans, teaches patients and families, and collaborates with surgeons and staff.

Qualificações

• BSN required; grandfathered BSN if hired prior to 12/2019.
• 1 year PACU experience or 1 year in a high-acuity ICU prior to application.
• Excellent communication skills in English; follow policies and procedures.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

Responsabilidades

• Provide PACU nursing care and manage complex patient populations.
• Develop care plans and teach patients and families.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other staff to deliver direct care.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, Title 22 and JCAHO standards.
• Utilize Cerner Millennium to place physician orders.
• Support performance improvement and unit-based quality initiatives.
