Job summary

Mercy St. Louis PACU is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the recovery unit. This full-time role runs 3 x 12-hour shifts, providing care for post-anesthesia patients from routine recoveries to ICU-level cases. You will collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams to ensure safe, effective care.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited RN program.
  • Active RN license required.
  • BLS certification through American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care using the nursing process for PACU patients.
  • Collaborate with anesthesia team and other departments to coordinate care.
  • Monitor post-operative patients and ensure safety and comfort.
  • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality and uphold Mercy Service Standards.
