Job summary

SolutionHealth is seeking a PACU RN to care for patients recovering from anesthesia after surgical procedures. You will monitor vital signs, manage pain relief, administer IV fluids, and educate families during recovery.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, NH/Compact RN license, and BLS; ACLS is preferred. Full-time, 32 hours per week, with comprehensive benefits and supportive team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• New Hampshire Registered Nurse or Compact State Registered Nurse License.
• Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment.
• ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and assess patients postoperatively.
• Provide comfort measures and manage pain relief.
• Administer medications, IV fluids as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families about recovery progress.
• Assist with discharge planning for smooth transition home.
• Document postoperative care accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure best patient care.
