Job summary

Baldwin Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered nursing care in our Foley, AL facility. The role follows the nursing process from assessment through evaluation, coordinating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The RN will document findings, administer medications, monitor patients for side effects, and participate in code team activities when needed.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting
• Strong knowledge of the nursing process and clinical nursing practices
• Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with policies and nursing process.
• Documents patient assessments and reports changes in condition to the care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency and skill level.
• Educates patients and families about post-discharge care and follow-up.
