Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting.
  • Current RN licensure in the state or a compact state.
  • Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient-centered care following the nursing process and organizational protocols.
  • Document assessments, plans, and care delivery accurately for the patient record.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate care.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and perform CPR as needed.
  • Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions.
  • Operate and monitor medical equipment and maintain infection control standards.
