Job summary

Spire Orthopedic Partners is seeking a skilled PACU RN with CT licensure to join our Stamford ASC. You will admit, assess, document, discharge and coordinate post-anesthesia care for pediatric to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities include creating care plans, monitoring vitals, and collaborating with physicians and the care team to ensure safe, efficient recoveries. This position is full-time and on-site in Stamford, CT.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an associate degree or BSN.
• Current, unencumbered RN licensure in the state of Connecticut (CT).
• BLS, ACLS and PALS are required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Admits, transfers and discharges patients according to policy.
• Completes ongoing patient assessment and documents in the EMR.
• Participates in developing patient care plans and interventions.
• Reports symptoms and changes in condition to the care team.
• Provides pre/post-anesthesia duties and postoperative care as assigned.
