Job summary

Banner Fort Collins Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse – PACU to join our Surgical Services team in Fort Collins, Colorado. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the team to ensure safe perioperative care.

Minimum CO RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications required or in progress. OR experience and CNOR are preferred; float to Loveland Campus as needed.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in CO (or compact eligibility).
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification required or within defined timeframe.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Operating Room experience preferred; CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational needs.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient care.
• Communicate effectively with surgical team, patients and families.
• Adhere to infection control, safety and regulatory standards.
