Job summary

Banner Health in Greeley, Colorado seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Perianesthesia – Hosp PACU team. The role focuses on direct patient care, post‑anesthesia recovery, and collaboration with surgeons and anesthesiologists.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM–8:00 PM with call shifts. Must hold an active RN license and BLS/ACLS; PACU/Pre‑Op/OR experience is preferred. Banner offers competitive pay and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing; state requirements apply.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.
• Prior PACU, Pre-Op, OR, or critical care experience preferred.
• Strong assessment and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the PACU/Recovery Room.
• Assist with Pre-Operative assessments and preparation.
• Monitor and manage patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education through perioperative care.
• Document patient care and clinical findings.
• Respond to changes in patient condition with critical thinking.
