Job summary

Kace Premier Medical Talent is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Hospital Outpatient Department's Post-Anesthesia Care Unit in Great Falls, Montana. The role involves caring for surgical and observation patients through perioperative recovery, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Required ADN with Montana RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, 2–4 years acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred).
• Active Montana RN license (or eligibility).
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for outpatient and elective surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients during Phase I post-anesthesia recovery.
• Assess and manage airway, neurological status, hemodynamics, pain, and post-operative complications.
• Care for higher-acuity patients requiring advanced monitoring, including arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, ventilators, and multiple IV infusions.
• Provide nursing care for medical and surgical observation patients.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurse leaders, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support LPNs and CNAs while promoting efficient patient flow.
• Complete accurate electronic documentation and discharge education.
