Job summary

Wellington Regional Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the PACU. This full-time Day shift offers 36 hours per week with comprehensive benefits. The RN will deliver safe, compassionate care, lead the healthcare team, and manage stroke patient care including NIHSS assessments and post-therapy monitoring.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current Florida nursing license (RN).
• BLS (required at hire).
• ACLS (required at hire).
• PALS (within 3 months of hire).
• PACU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates Patient Centered Care as the foundation for nursing activities.
