Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Registered Nurse for Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, PA. The role is part-time (24 hours/week) in the PACU with a rotating shift. The RN collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based patient care and support the patient visit experience.

The position requires PA RN licensure, an ADN (BSN preferred), BCLS, ACLS as applicable, and PACU/critical care experience. Exceptional benefits and opportunities for development are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor Degree in Nursing highly preferred.
• Current BCLS required or obtained by orientation.
• ACLS required or obtained by orientation if Applicable to Area of Practice.
• Critical Care and/or PACU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital nursing practice standards and performs assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Assist the emergent patient and document on Emergency Room nursing tool.
• Identify patient needs based on objective data and document accordingly.
• Implement nursing actions for each patient and exercise sound judgment.
• Discuss with patient and/or family about planned care and document outcomes.
• Utilize multidisciplinary approach to deliver patient care.
