Job summary

Main Line Health is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse for the PACU at Riddle Hospital. You will care for post-operative patients within a 33-bed unit as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include patient care, on-call duties, and contributing to a positive patient experience. RN licensure in PA (or multi-state) is required, with BSN preferred and a commitment to continuing education.

Qualifications

• RN Diploma or ASN required for licensure.
• BSN preferred; if no BSN, commitment to returning to school within 6 months and complete within 3 years.
• PA RN license or multi-state license via Nursing Licensure Compact.
• Provider BLS preferred.
• ACLS required or preferred as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Care for post-op/PACU patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Contribute to patient experience and care plans.
• Participate in on-call duties and shift rotations as scheduled.

Position:

Registered Nurse RN - PACU

Shift:

32 hrs per week (Four, 8 hr shifts); Varied Day Start Time but typically 9:30am/10:00amOn-Call Requirement: Candidates must be within 30 minutes of Riddle Hospital; Call requirements can vary but average 2 weeknights per 6 week schedule and one/24 hr weekend requirement per month.Experience: One year(s) of recent PACU Nurse experience required.

Education:

• 1. RN Diploma, ASN required.
• 2. BSN preferred. If you do not have a BSN, you must be open to returning to school within 6 months of employment and completing with 3 years of employment.

Licensures/Certifications:

• 1. PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
• 2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.
