Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking a Registered Nurse to supervise nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays, ensuring quality and continuity of patient care. The RN will use the nursing process for assessments, planning, and interventions, and collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in care planning.

The role may include additional duties within the scope of practice as assigned. A BSN is preferred and active RN licensure with BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc may be required depending upon area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and interventions.
• Collaborate with Physicians and other healthcare clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• May have additional duties assigned within the scope of the role.
