Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an RN for PACU in Torrance, CA for a 13-week assignment. The role requires 1 year PACU experience with ER/ICU exposure, CA license, and ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications. Cerner experience and Phase II recovery proficiency are needed, along with discharge instructions expertise.

The unit handles pediatric to adult post‑op and catheterization patients, ~4:1 patient ratio, with every-other-weekend shifts and no unit floating or on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year PACU experience plus ER or ICU experience required.
• Active California license required at the time of submission.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Care for pediatric to adult post-operative and catheterization lab patients.
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 4:1.
• Weekend shifts required every other weekend.
• Provide discharge instructions to patients and families.
• Collaborate with physical therapy and respiratory services.
