Job summary

Qualifications

• Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice is required.
• At least one year RN experience or minimal 5 years LPN experience required.
• ACLS and PALS certification is required or to be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Effectively uses the nursing process in the delivery of patient care.
• Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies appropriate for the diverse patient needs.
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources.

Skills

Proficiency in using computers (EPIC)

Effective verbal and written communication

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
