Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN required for magnet facilities.
• Experience: 1 year RN or 2 years LPN in acute care; preferred 2 years RN.
• Current RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct, hands-on care for critically ill or injured patients in perioperative settings.
• Organizes, plans, and supervises coordinated patient care within the unit.
• Supervises and evaluates assigned nursing staff and technicians.
• Promotes evidence-based nursing protocols and guidelines.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and resource availability on the unit.
• Collaborates with leadership to improve quality, safety, and patient experience.
