Job summary

Wheeling Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for inpatient care delivery within our hospital setting. The role requires applying nursing process with independent judgment, ensuring quality patient outcomes, and mentoring peers. Candidates should have an active RN license (state or eNLC) and be prepared to obtain BLS within 30 days of hire.

This position emphasizes leadership and holistic patient care. Two years of RN experience are preferred, and BSN is desired.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state or multi-state license through eNLC.
• Obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes patient diagnoses, problems, and goals with the healthcare team.
• Serves as a resource for patient and family education.
• Coordinates with the interprofessional team to manage changing priorities.
