Job summary

SnapCare is seeking an RN for the PACU in Santa Fe, NM. The selected candidate will work 4 rotating 10-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM and participate in on-call rotations. The role includes floating to other surgical units and using EPIC to document patient care.

Required are an accredited RN program graduate, NM or Compact license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. The facility emphasizes high-quality, patient-centered nursing standards in a full-service regional center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current NM RN license or Compact license required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) required.
• Float to other units within surgical services as needed.
• Use EPIC EMR for documentation and orders.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record initial patient assessments and establish priorities by age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
• Reassess patients to identify progress and trends requiring intervention.
• Develop and implement individualized, measurable plans of care within nursing standards.
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on data and outcomes.
• Participate in patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Implement timely interventions appropriate to patient needs.
• Perform Point of Care testing procedures.
• Float to other units within surgical services as needed.
