Lovelace Health System, Inc. in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking a Day Shift PACU Registered Nurse to join our surgical recovery team on a PRN basis.

The RN will provide professional nursing care in the post-anesthesia setting, may serve as Charge Nurse, and must adhere to all policies ensuring patient safety. Requirements include a current NM nursing license, Associate's Degree or Diploma of Nursing, and BLS within 14 days of hire; ACLS/PALS may be required.

Competenze

• Associate's Degree or Diploma of Nursing is required.
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license within 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer before providing direct patient care.
• DEPARTMENT MAY ALSO REQUIRE ACLS and/or PALS.

• The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for professional nursing practice, including patient care and staff management as assigned.
• May serve in the role of Charge Nurse and be accountable for professional practice.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
