Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to care for patients recovering from anesthesia in a fast-paced setting. You will monitor vitals, manage pain relief, administer IV fluids, and support patients and families through recovery.

Qualifications include BSN preferred, NH RN license or compact license, and BLS certification with ACLS preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and sign-on eligibility to join a dedicated care team.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
New Hampshire Registered Nurse License or Compact State RN License required or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

Monitor vital signs and perform assessments to ensure optimal postoperative care.
Provide comfort measures and pain relief according to orders.
Administer IV fluids and medications as prescribed by the physician.
Educate patients and families about recovery progress and care needs.
Assist with discharge planning for a smooth transition home.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.
Document postoperative care accurately in medical records.
