Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse, PACU for an evening shift in Teaneck, NJ. The 13-week contract features a 10-hour shift from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM with one weekend call per contract and some holidays.

The PACU RN will monitor vitals, manage pain, and ensure safe recovery after anesthesia, documenting care on paper charts and coordinating with the care team. Active NJ/Compact licensure, ACLS and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Active NJ License or Compact license in hand at submission.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and recovery status.
• Administer medications and manage pain control as prescribed.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients post-surgery.
• Document all patient care information accurately using paper charting.
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
