Job summary

Novant Health’s Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced PACU RN to care for patients after surgery, covering both Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery. This full-time role offers a collaborative surgical services team and opportunities to grow clinical skills.

Preferred candidates have PACU/ER/ICU experience and an active RN license; readiness for a fast-paced environment and commitment to patient safety are valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; RN license required.
• One year PACU or related surgical experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in PACU through recovery phases 1 and 2.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess, treat, and monitor patients.
• Respond quickly in high-pressure environments while ensuring safety.
• Prioritize comfort and safety during all phases of care.
• Apply clinical judgement to support positive outcomes.
