Job summary

Novant Health's Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital is seeking an experienced PACU RN to join the Post Anesthesia Care Unit call team. This full-time role supports patients recovering after surgery, with phase 1 and phase 2 care, and emphasizes compassionate, high-quality comfort.

PACU experience is required; you will work within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary staff to monitor, stabilize, and safely transition patients through recovery.

Qualifications

• 2 years relevant experience
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state
• Associate degree at minimum; Bachelor's degree preferred
• PACU experience required

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals facing urgent and emergent medical needs
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, treat, and stabilize patients
• Respond quickly and effectively in a dynamic, high-pressure environment
