ARMStaffing is seeking a registered nurse for the PACU in Mishawaka, Indiana. The nurse will monitor patients recovering from anesthesia, follow post-operative protocols, and respond promptly to patient needs to ensure safe, efficient recovery.

The assignment is a 13-week contract with four weeknight call shifts per month, one weekend day call monthly, and one weekend night call every six weeks. ACLS and BLS certifications are required, and a valid Indiana RN license is necessary.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid RN license in Indiana.
• Previous PACU experience is preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Monitor patients’ vitals and anesthesia effects post-surgery.
• Provide post-operative care and support until the patient is stable.
• Administer medications and manage pain control as directed.
• Coordinate with surgical teams for patient handoff and ongoing care.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care instructions.
