Beacon Health System's Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN is hiring a full-time Day shift Registered Nurse for the PACU department. You will assess patients, implement care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, compassionate post-anesthesia care.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited nursing program with Indiana RN licensure, and one of BSN or specialty certification within 5 years.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program and RN license in Indiana.
• Within 5 years of employment as an RN, obtain a BSN or certification in your area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively performs high-risk, high-frequency procedures in accordance with standards.
• Prioritizes patient care activities based on acuity and departmental needs.
• Identifies and responds to physical or emotional health risks, initiating corrective actions.
• Maintains accountability for decisions, using evidence-based practices.
• Develops, revises, and evaluates individualized care plans across physical and emotional domains.
• Ensures continuity of care and documents assessments and outcomes.
