Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse for a 13-week day-shift assignment. You will care for patients recovering from surgery in a high-acuity PACU, with a typical 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio and weekend coverage.

Requirements include 2+ years in PACU or ICU, active RN license, and required certifications. Floating within PACU and occasional pre-op coverage are part of the role, with emphasis on patient safety and post-op recovery care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PACU or ICU experience.
• Active state RN license; BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH required.
• Strong PACU background; ability to chart accurately.

Responsibilities

• Care for PACU patients across pediatrics to geriatrics.
• Weekend work: two weekends per schedule cycle.
• Float within PACU; rotate to pre-op as needed.
• Follow protocols and perform skills such as intubation, cardiovascular care, and pain management.
