Job summary

Munson Healthcare in Traverse City, MI seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the PACU to provide pre- and post-anesthesia care for surgical and procedural patients. You will collaborate with anesthesia providers and contribute to a high-performing perioperative team.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Michigan.
• Experience caring for adult surgical patients within the last 3 years preferred.
• BLS, ACLS required at hire; PALS within 6 months of hire.
• Vaccination against Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella or verified immunity.

Responsibilities

• Provides pre- and post-anesthesia care for surgical and procedural patients.
• Works collaboratively with anesthesia providers.
• Performs outpatient and inpatient surgeries; 60–70 cases per day.
• PACU Residency Program (12 months).
• Commitment to growth with ongoing education and tuition reimbursement.
