Job summary

Munson Healthcare in Traverse City, MI, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU to provide pre- and post-anesthesia care for surgical and procedural patients. You will work with anesthesia providers and the surgical team to ensure smooth transitions and high-quality outcomes.

This role requires Michigan RN licensure, current BLS and ACLS on hire (PALS within 6 months), and experience caring for adult surgical patients. Vaccination and flu-shot requirements apply per policy.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan.
• Experience caring for adult surgical patients within the last 3 years preferred.
• BCLS, and ACLS, required upon hire, PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides pre- and post-anesthesia care for surgical and procedural patients.
• Works collaboratively with anesthesia providers and the surgical team.
• Performs outpatient and inpatient surgeries, 60-70 cases/day.
