Job summary

• BLS certification; ACLS required at time of hire for specified areas.
• Masters is preferred; BSN required; Associate degree accepted with experience.
• 3 years of procedural nursing experience and strong IV skills.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families.
• Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on learning needs of the patient.
• Participates in evidence-based improvement activities related to area of practice.
• Participates in professional development based on nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and job expectations.
