Job summary

West Henderson Hospital in The Valley Health System seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide safe, competent care and to lead the healthcare team in alignment with patient-centered care. You will oversee staff, uphold Service Excellence standards, and collaborate with physicians and support services in a 150-bed facility offering emergency, cardiac, neurology, surgery and inpatient care.

Current Nevada RN license with BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as required, BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Education
