Job summary

Summerlin Hospital, part of The Valley Health System, is a 496-bed facility in Las Vegas providing emergency, maternity, pediatric, cardiovascular and oncology services. The hospital emphasizes patient-centered care and a collaborative practice model within UHS guidelines.

We are seeking an RN with a Nevada license, BLS, ACLS/PALS/NRP per department, and acute care experience to lead and support the healthcare team while delivering high-quality care and upholding the facility's standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/ or equivalent within 6 months of hire. BSN preferred.
• Experience: One-year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• License/Certification: Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS Certification (adult) or PALS/NRP as required by department.
• Other: Must pass any pre-employment assessment(s).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision and demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
