Job summary

Ingenovis Health, partner with UK King’s Daughters as the employer of record for Riverspan, seeks PACU nurses to support post-anesthesia recovery across facilities in the United States. As the clinician, you will monitor vital signs, assess consciousness levels and observe for anesthesia-related side effects while integrating with assigned teams.

Requirements include 1-2 years of recent PACU experience and an active nursing license in the US.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent experience in the job's primary area of care.
• Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states.
• Additional requirements & certifications may be requested by the facility/unit.
• An enthusiastic, adventurous spirit with a desire to help.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients recovering from anesthesia after surgery.
• Monitor post-operation vital signs and observe for anesthesia side effects.
• Assess levels of consciousness and monitor for any changes in status.

Job description

Also known as recovery room nurses, post-anesthesia care unit or PACU nurses care for patients who are recovering from anesthesia after surgery. They monitor post-operation vital signs, assess levels of consciousness, and carefully observe patients for any side effects from anesthesia.

Basic travel nursing requirements include:

• 1-2 years recent experience in the job's primary area of care
• Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states
• Additional requirements & certifications as may be requested by the specific facility/unit
• An enthusiastic, adventurous spirit with a desire to help
